SEED Awards (2009) Call for submissions
(Deadline 16 March 2009) Do you have an entrepreneurial and innovative idea that is locally-driven and has great potential to contribute to sustainable development in countries with developing or transition economies? If you meet SEED’s eligibility criteria, you could apply now for the 2009 SEED Awards for entrepreneurship in sustainable development. Award Winners receive a comprehensive package of tailor-made support services, worth up to $40,000, to help their venture to become established and to increase their impact.

MEAF Inclusion Champion Award (Deadline: December 1)
Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation: Inclusion of Youth with Disabilities - The MEAF Inclusion Champion Award honors individuals who have made significant efforts to promote the full inclusion of youth with disabilities in society. The focus of the efforts may include, but is not limited to, helping to create a culture of inclusion within an organization or community, or developing innovative strategies for inclusive programming in school activities, after-school programs, community service, and leadership development. Maximum award: $1,000 for the charity of the recipient's choice.
Principal's Leadership Award Scholarship (Deadline: December 5)
There is still time to nominate one of your outstanding students for the 2008 Principal’s Leadership Award sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) and Herff Jones Inc.
