It's been a busy week for those serving across the country, as the Gulf of Mexico oil spill has prompted volunteers nationwide to offer help in the tremendous environmental rescue effort. Meanwhile, UC schools are on their way to incorporate service as an integral part of education and AmeriCorps volunteers work to provide basic repairs for the elderly. Here's the roundup:
